....basically spent the weekend eating!!
- I bought some Tulips on the way home on Friday, it felt like Spring was in the air for the first time this year.
-I made my first ever Tagine on Friday night. Dan and I picked up this little beauty on our trip to Marrakech and I've been dying to use it - I made lamb and prune tagine, it was delicious! I can't wait to make another one, lemon chicken is up next!
-After a little too much red wine on Friday night I woke up and craved a bacon butty! We pulled our clothes on and headed to Brunel's Buttery, it's a cure for all (hangover related) ills.
-Plus, it was a stunning day so I came home and chilled on the couch for a couple of hours, took some shots of the view from Dan's flat.
-I drank tea and ate cake in my friend Tia's garden whilst trying to soak up some much needed Vitamin D.
-On Saturday night I had my first ever "pop-up" restaurant experience courtesy of Belle & Grant (www.facebook.com/bellegrantat9) which was held at the lovely Cordial & Grace (www.cordial-and-grace.co.uk), blog post to follow.
-Sunday I went to watch Bristol Rugby v Leinster, their final home game of the season. Unfortunately Bristol lost by only 4 points. I love 'live' stuff, sports, theatre, music, comedians.....there's usually such a great buzz.
Pretty much a perfect weekend, although no gym/running action due to the remaining effects of my cold....
