How Many Cleansers??!!

Ummmm, so I seem to have waaaayy too many cleansers for my own good!! I have no idea why I have so many but April is my month to use-up and declutter, spring cleaning and all that jazz!

I thought I would do a little review of each to help me sort out what's what. I have combination skin, with an oily t-zone.

So working across the back-row from l-r we have:

1. Peaches & Clean 4-in-1 Deep Cleansing Milk by Soap & Glory (soapandglory.com) £7 for 200ml

I got this in a massive Soap & Glory Christmas gift pack and started using it straightaway as I'd heard lots of good things about it from other bloggers. After a month I stopped because it felt like it left a 'film' on my skin. I have oily skin and I like it to feel really clean after cleansing, I was surprised that this product didn't do that. I will try it for another week before the final decision to give it away.

2. Seaweed Cleansing Facial Wash by The Body Shop (thebodyshop.co.uk) £8 for 100ml

This is a Body Shop Bestseller and I got it when I first bought my Clarisonic as the cleanser I was using at the time didn't really work with it. I really like this as a product, I definitely get that 'clean' feeling without it drying out my skin. I first tried it in the summer and once the weather warms up I think I will switch back to it again, it's great value for money too.

3. No7 Beautiful Skin Foaming Cleanser for Normal/Oily Skin by Boots (boots.com) £9 for 150ml

This was my old faithful before I got my Clarisonic last summer. I still use it now and again but it just doesn't feel quite as thorough as other cleansers I own. I definitely aim to try and use it up in April as I know it suits my skin, and I hate waste!!

4. Le Petit Olivier Cleansing Foam with Olive Oil and Aloe Vera (ecobeautyshop.com) £8.75 for 150ml

I bought this when I was skiing in France because I forgot to take my cleanser with me. It's a beautiful product, completely natural and free of parabens and other nasties. That being said it's probably not got enough deep cleansing action for my oily t-zone so I'm going to be gifting it to one of my friends who has normal/dry skin. It did a great job for the week I was away though and I would definitely recommend it, I think I'm going to try some other products in the range as I love the natural element.

5. Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser (uk.lizearle.com) £24.75 200ml tube

This is such a highly recommended beauty product, having won so many awards that I had to give a go!! And the rave reviews are completely correct, this is an amazing cleanser that leaves your skin feeling baby soft and thoroughly cleansed. It works by massaging the cleanser onto your face (over your make-up) and then heating up a cloth by running it under hot water then using it to remove the cleanser. I do love this product but I guess the reason I haven't religiously stuck with it is because it adds an extra step to an already time-tight morning routine. I need a cleanser I can just massage in and rinse off, I know it sounds supremely lazy but heating up the cloth and then rinsing it out a few times just takes precious minutes I don't have at 6am! I will definitely use this one up though because when I do have the time to do a "proper-cleanse" it leaves my skin feeing amazing.

6. Jurlique Purely Bright Cleanser with VitaBrightKx (feelunique.com) £18 for 100ml

Ah Jurlique, how I love you!!! This cleanser is my absolute all time favourite, there are not enough words to express how much I love this cleanser. It does absolutely everything I need it to in terms of cleansing but also leaves my skin feeling "brighter" and evenly toned. I only came across it in December and have already got through nearly two tubes.....I've made a deal with myself, if I use up some of the others I can buy another one. Oh and it smells divine.

7. Clarisonic Mia (Clarisonic.co.uk) £99

Hmmm, what to say about my Clarisonic....I haven't used it since I discovered Jurlique Purely Bright and I haven't really missed it. Sonic skin cleansers are all the rage at the moment and when I first started using it I did see/feel the benefits. It makes a fairly average cleanser work much harder for you. I'll use it again with my Body Shop Seaweed Cleanser over the summer and see how I feel, I was thinking about selling it (you can buy brand new replacement heads so it's not gross!!).

Well there's the round-up, which cleansers are your favourites?
