Dinner @ Bill's

As a Tuesday night treat Dan and I grabbed a quick dinner at Bill's Restaurant on Queens Road. I think it opened a couple of weeks ago and I love to try new places to eat in Bristol, I tend to get stuck in a rut with my tried and trusted favourites!

Back to Bill's, it was surprisingly quiet for 7pm on a Tuesday and we were sat quickly on a table by the window. Dan ordered the Ribs from the specials menu and I got the Naked Burger (a burger without the bun). Both were really good! My burger was really tasty, the side salad nicely dressed (I hate it when restaurants swamp a salad in dressing), and my fries were crispy.

We were nicely full after our mains and wouldn't usually order dessert but there was quite a few tempting options on the menu! We went with the Lemon Meringue Pie in a glass......ummmm, I have no idea how to describe this other than DIVINE.....so good it's bad......simply amazing! It has a yogurt ice-cream hiding under the meringue layer which totally transforms this classic dessert. Seriously yum!!

So overall a great dinner out. Thanks Bill's! I want to go back and try out their Brunch menu soon.

NOTE: Bill's has no idea who I am, all thoughts expressed are my own.
